You'll need
- 1 cup roasted black chickpeas (chana)
- 1/4 tsp chaat masala
- 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
- A pinch of black salt
- A squeeze of lemon, just before eating
Method
- If the chickpeas aren't already roasted, dry-roast them in a pan until they darken slightly and smell toasted.
- Toss hot with the chaat masala, cumin powder and black salt.
- Finish with a squeeze of lemon just before serving, so they stay crisp.
