जामुन शरबत

You'll need

  • 2 cups ripe jamun (black plum), deseeded
  • 2 tbsp sugar or jaggery
  • A pinch of black salt
  • A pinch of roasted cumin powder
  • 2 cups chilled water

Method

  1. Mash the jamun fruit well, or blend briefly, and strain to extract the pulp and juice.
  2. Mix in the sugar, black salt and cumin powder.
  3. Stir in the chilled water, adjusting thickness to taste, and serve over ice.
